This article starts out primarily dealing with
phonetic duality. Phonetic duality is basically
the concept of equating languages with what the
ear hears or combining the senses; vocal & audio
in order to understand languages.
Later on the passage expands on the fact that
language has had an evolution; that is a history.

Analysis of Relationships
In any language or in the task of speech hearing is just as important as the act of speaking. As a matter of fact they go hand in hand. This explains why most people born deaf also usually have a speech impedement.
